Carrie McClure, 69, of Rogersville, Hawkins Co TN, died Friday morning, March 26, 2010. Born on March 21, 1941, she was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County.
She enjoyed feeding and watching birds in her front yard, and gardening, especially flower gardens.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey McClure; three sisters, Ida Arnold, Imer Arnold, and Irene McClure; and four brothers, J. Fred Head, W. C. Head, McArthur Head, and Kenneth Head.
She is survived by a daughter, Karen Giraldez and husband Rolando; two sons, Harvey 'Wesley' McClure, and James 'Hershel' McClure and wife Amy; granddaughter, Krystal Long; grandsons, Dylan Long, Dakota McClure, Ethan Giraldez, and Seth McClure; a sister, Alma Crawford; a brother, Denver Head and wife Margaret; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday evening, March 28, 2010, from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., at Hamlett- Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch, TN. Services will follow at 8:30 p.m., with Rev. Rex Miller officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, March 29, 2010, at 11 a.m., at McPheeter's Bend Community Cemetery, Hawkins Co TN. Pallbearers will be Douglas Head, Steve Head, Dallas Head, Darrell Arnold, Jim Hall, and Ronnie Wright.
