This is probably an ancestor group to the Cuairtear Chloinn Cholla, or McColl Society, founded in 1931 by about the same people as you listed, and active until the accidental death of its leading light Hugh McColl in the 1940s. The society journal in a couple of dozen issues from 1932 to 1951 - I keep meaning to count them - may be found in some major libraries. They classified the families using a numbering system I don't know enough about to understand. my grandfather was C29 for example.
I don't know what happened to the society papers but his own collection of work disappeared from sight after his death. When I spoke to likely possessors of them 10-15 years ago I was told various mutually-exclusive tales of their destruction and/or dispersal and had threats of their definite destruction if we McColl-hunters didn't leave him alone. I left him alone.
