I had Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma (Stage 4) which is currently in remission. After I became cancer free I had a bone marrow transplant to reduce the chances of a recurrence. During all this treatment my strength & energy was such that I could not go up stairs very well (lots of times not at all) and this affected my genealogy research greatly since the computer was in the basement.I tried to continue when I could but then just gave up on it so if there are any really old posts or e-mails I never responded to, I apologize. I am still in remission from the cancer but my body has not fully recovered from the transplant however I now have a computer in my bedroom so the stairs are no longer an obstacle. Last weekend my cousin¡¦s husband, who has just started his family search, asked me to look up something for him. I did so and it rekindled the thrill of the hunt.
