Mrs. Roberta Edna Gilliam (nee McCulloch) age 79 years, a lifelong resident of Thunder Bay passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2009. Roberta was employed by Vulcan Machinery, Gibson Motors and Provincial Papers. She enjoyed painting in water colours, knitting sweaters for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, bingo and bowling. Roberta loved spending time at the family camp at Ishkibibble Beach, but time with her great/grandkids was what made her happiest. Roberta will be lovingly remembered by her daughters: Kathy (Chooch) Paglaro, Lynn (Tom) Mikulinski, Debra Gilliam, Tracy Goodwin, and Jody (Alan) Malcolm; 15 grandchildren: Jamie, Bobbi-Jo, Clint, Quincy, Jesse, Joe, Arron, Jacinth, Ryne, Shelby, Colt, Jake, Chase, Devan and Nolan; 8 great grandchildren: Katelyn, Michael, Dylan, Taiya, Edelweiss, Asher, Burgundy and Serena; brothers: Don (Sharon) and Frank (Kathy) McCulloch, sisters-in-law Janet and Gladys, daughters-in-law Bootsie and Shawne and son-in-law Garry Goodwin. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by her parents Robert and Kay McCulloch, parents-in-law Frederick and Edith Gilliam, husband Frank, sons Lloyd and Ryne, sister Moira, brothers: Tommy, Murray, Melvin and sister-in-law Thelma. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in Lakeview Presbyterian Church with Ken Haggerty officiating.
