The names of Alexander and Victoria's siblings would have helped as would any death dates for anybody. Even approximate dates help.
The 1930 census of Norristown, Montgomery County, PA includes an Alex McCurdy 16 as the son of Daniel 41, born in PA and Martha 37 also born in PA. They were married ca 1912. Allegedly their parents were born in England. Their other children included Thelma, Mary and Martha.
The family was living in Plymouth Twp. according to the 1920 census. This time it shows Daniel's parents born in PA and Martha born in England. Such discrepancies are common. The WWI and II draft cards for Dan (Daniel) shows he was born Oct 14, 1888 in Plymouth (probably Plymouth Twp.), PA.
The 1920 census of Bridgeport, Montgomery Co., PA shows a Victoria Linfante 10/12 as the daughter of Nickeles 41 and Anna 30. He immigrated in 1897 and she in 1906. They are married ca 1908. Their other children included Eliza, Amelia, Mario, and Hugo.

Some of these records you can look at for free at labs.familysearch.org and Ancestry.com. For those you cannot see for free I suggest checking with your local libraries to see if they have Ancestry or Heritage Quest.
The best thing to do is to get some hard birth and death dates for the people you are looking for. This may require a visit to the cemeteries the families are buried in. With some hard dates it becomes easier to confirm the connection found in other records such as the census. You can also try to get birth and death certificates for anyone born or had died since 1906 in Pennsylvania from the PA Dept of Health. The death certificates will give you who the parents were. Obituaries also help.
Since the families were from the Norristown area check with the Historical Society of Montgomery County. Most likely the couples got their marriage licenses at the Montgomery County Register of Wills. Often these records have data on birth places and parents.
