I had picked-up on the Marr relationship from the 1900 Census.
It seems Mary McDonnell, b. 1827, in Ireland, is the matriarch of this family. I'm still not sure my branch ties-in with this group, although they all congregated in the Bridgeport neighborhood, including myself.
There are many McDonnells buried in Calvary Cemetery, Evanston, with the earliest being a two year-old, Marcella, b. July 18, 1867; d. October 18, 1869, in the same plot (South 1/2 Lot 22, Block 7, Section C.).
Likewise, many are buried in Mt. Olivet; McDonnell descendants from Garristown, County Dublin. Actually, my McDonnells continue to live on that same land.
My mother's baby sister Alice Considine, d. November 1907, age 11 months, is buried in the McDonnell plot in Calvary.
