Don't have Hollenbeck in our McFadden family in Lawrence County, Indiana...I found your Family living in Lexington, Scott County, IN in 1850 Census - Henry Hollenbeck b. abt 1804 New York, wife: Margaret b. abt 1802 Kentucky. Their children all born in Indiana are the following: Henry F., Nicholas, America Ann, James P. and Jacob W. The oldest Henry F. was born abt 1831. So they were living in Indiana in about 1831. You didn't mention where they were married? in Kentucky? or Indiana?

The McFadden family I think you should check is William McFadden b. abt 1727 Ireland - d. abt 1801. He came to America about 1750's and settled in Kentucky with his wife and children. Sons who settled in KY were: Hugh (1750-1819), William (1760-1799), and Cornelius (1764-1799). His wife and sons who later settled in western Pennsylvania: John (1746-1835), James (1748-1802), and Thomas (1757-1812). There is a great deal written about this family on Ancestry.com, and probably on this website.
The line I have traced is Thomas McFadden who died in Washington County, Pennsylvania. He was born 1757 Ireland, and died 8 Oct 1812 Washington Co., PA. He married Ann Adams (b. 1766 Ireland -d. 19 Aug 1840 Zanesville, Muskingum, OH). Their children: James, Thomas, Elizabeth "Eliza", Gilbert, John Birch, and William Adams or Adams McFadden. This family traveled between Kentucky, Western PA, and Ohio...then later into Indiana.
