Peter McGIVERN (1825-1881) married Margrette LARKIN (1826-1902), daughter of Felix LARKIN and (female) MURPHY.(Margrette LARKIN is known to have had brothers named Arthur LARKIN [descendents in Omaha, Nebraska] and Michael LARKIN [descendents in Australia]).Peter McGIVERN and Margrette LARKIN had the following children:Francis McGIVERN (1848-1930); Michael McGIVERN (1850-1935); Alice (McGIVERN) COLEMAN (1852-1875); Arthur Ambrose McGIVERIN (1854-1926); Felix Hugh McGIVERN (1856-1925); Mary (McGIVERN) McDONALD (1859-1943); Peter Andrew McGIVERN (1862-1947); James Joseph McGIVERN/Brother Aloysius (Christian Brother) (1864-1938); and Thomas P. Robert McGIVERN married Anne QUIGLEY and had at least one child, a son named Frank McGIVERN (b. 1855).
Pat McGIVERN married Cathy QUINN and had at least one child, a son named Peter McGIVERN (b. 1846).
Arthur McGIVERN married Judy WARD and had at least two children, sons named Patrick McGIVERN (b. 1846) and Thomas McGIVERN (b. 1851).
Inasmuch as I know that the McGIVERNS were from Upper Creggan Parish, Co. Armagh, I assume the MACKINS, QUIGLEYS, and LARKINS were also from there, or the surrounding area.
