A few years ago I was sat infront of my pc qiute bored,I decided to type my surname in a search engine and up came Greg McGrail home page. After several e-mails Greg inspired me to set about searching my family history. though over the last couple of years my feet haven't touched the ground due to work I have carried on my search.I was quite saddend a few months ago to learn that Greg wasn't well but tonight having read and learned of Gregs death I am quite saddend to say the least, though I didn't know Greg like some I feel I've lost a very dear freind who will be missed by many.I hope in time that we the McGrails pay tribute to this man in a way he would be proud, I see that Chris his nephew will be taking over the web site I feel Greg would be proud of you Chris, the only thing I would like to add is, why not have a united and concerted effort to do what Greg really wanted to do get our heads together do the research and link the family of McGrail. (it would be a great tribute) There many many McGrails out there, lets work as a team if I'm researching one area others can research different areas. It'll probebley need a couple of administrators and the rest of us can do the leg work.If anyones interested then drop me an e-mail and anyone who's interested in organising and administration please get intouch this kind of work needs some one who's willing to put 100% into it and unfortuanatly Gregs no longer with us.God bless you and rest in peace Greg.
