Thank you for the information. This is new to me and appreciated.
Here is all I have for Squire, brother of my Wm McGuire (1796-1858). There were two males of John J's age range on the 1820 census for Squire. What evidence do you have that ties John J. of KS to Squire of Allen KY? Do you have marriage records for John J or a will?
I have Daniel Harman (my 3 GGuncle) and Mandenor Reeder in my data base. But do not have their children. Daniel's sister Nancy Mariah Harman married my William McGuire (1796-1858, brother of Squire), so this is obviously a strong link. I have never found 100% proof, but there was a Susanna Harman (sister of Nancy and Anna) who married Josiah McGuire in 1824 Tazewell, and he was a brother of Squire and William. It would seem the Harman women were very interested in the McGuire men at that time - but honestly, who could blame them?
