I have been searching for years for the marriage of my gg aunt, Annie McCabe. Family history had it that she married a McNally. Imagine my surprise, when as a last attempt, I did a soundex search at Scotlandspeople and came up with the marriage record for Annie and Owen. I also didn't limit my search to South Leith where the family had lived for years after migrating from Cloone, Leitrim, Ireland.
Would love to hear from anyone who has a connection to these folks.
