John McKee (I think his dates are 1749-1805 or something like that) was the founder of McKeesport, Pa. He was rather wealthy, so perhaps Mr. Myers was in debt to him. As John's brother Robert was dead by that time, Robert was probably John's presumed cousin, who was a farmer in St. Clair Twp. who died in 1828. I'm descended from Robert's probable brother Gavin (Guian), who went to Kentucky. I don't have my materials with me, but I think there was a McKee-Thompson marriage somewhere. But no Myers. Who might the Thompson connection be?
