I am researching my great grandfather, Joseph a. McKee.His mother was Jane and they lived in Queens in 1880.She and her family came over before Joseph did, and he came in 1880.
In the 1900 census, I noticed a Felix McKee listed on the same street as Joseph.I'm wondering if Felix could be related to Joseph? They were both born in 1860, so they wouldn't be brothers unless they were twins (which I doubt). They could have been cousins though.
Felix was head of household, born 1860, Ireland and was 39 yrs old in 1900.He was married to Mary A. who came over in 1880, as did Felix. They had been married 14 yrs. at the time of the census. They had a Daughter, Mary A., sons Felix Jr.,William J., James, Joseph P. John F., and sister-in-law-Teresa Lauw?? (illegible).
Does anyone know of this family? Can they help me prove or disprove a relationship to my Joseph A. who happened to also live on Eighth Street. Felix and family lived at 117 Eighth Street, while Joseph and family lived at 138 Eighth Street.Anyone who has any information about these 2 families, please, email me at email@example.com Thanks
