From the Healdton Herald published at Healdton, Carter Co., Oklahoma: August 20, 1964 Mrs. McKee Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Freewill Baptist Church for Mrs. EVA MCKEE, 623 West Shell, who died late Sunday at the family home, following an extended illness. She was the wife of JOE MCKEE. Rev. DOYLE COX of the church conducted the service with burial at Hewitt Cemetery at Wilson, arranged by Collier-Reeser Funeral Home.
She was born at Wynnewood October 30, 1901 and died at the family home, age 63. She married JOE MCKEE March 12, 1919 and had lived in and around Healdton over 40 years. She was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church and was liked by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by a son, JACKS, who died July 12, 1962.
Surviving are her husband JOE; one daughter, Mrs. OPAL Arizona, KENNETH of Oil City and JERRY of the home; two sisters, Mrs. RUBY OWENS and Mrs. VERA YERRY both of Bakersfield, California; three brothers, JIM RAMSEY of San Leandro, Calif., CECIL and CLAUDE RAMSEY of Midland, Texas and 10 grandchildren.
