One of the first families buried there is the Myers family from Baltimore.Internment numbers 20, 21, 22 23.They are the four Myers children that died in the Baltimore Fire of April 14 1857.Henry Myers owned the lot.He was a Wagon Maker from Baltimore who moved to McKeesport to make wagons for the government for used in the War with Mexico. They are about 60 ft from John McKee
The Pollard family is also has an early Internment number of 50 and 51 February 1 1858 almost exactly 150 years ago to the day.The Pollards are married into the Fielding Lewis and Betty Washington family when their son Howell Lewis married Ellen Pollard.Betty Washington is George Washintons sister.They are 15 ft from John McKee.
Sarah Mckee internment number 37342 was buried Dec 2 1979.I think the cemetery is now up in the 50,000+ range by now.
