I am the GG grandson of George McLees.
George Mclees' father is Cornelius Mclees, "Neal"
There are many Descendants of George Mclees and Fanny Pinkerton in the Cascade Ia. area. Many are buried in the Catholic cemetary in Cascade. I believe I have pictures of George and his second wife Mary's gravestone and possibly Francis Pinkerton's too. On the George and Francis family, they had around 6 or 7 children. John Mclees is one of their children, and, John Vincent, son of John, age 89 as of 2012, still farms in the Cascade area and has many children in the area. I am descended from George and Mary Mclees, who I believe only had one child, Charles J. McLees. Charles J. had George Daniel, Stella, Henry ("Harry"), Geraldine, Thomas Herbert and my Grandfather, Charles W. "Carl" McLees.
One of my Mother's cousins has many family pictures from at least back to Charles J. and his wife Annie T.. Charles J. was either very tall, or Annie is quite small, anyway, an old black and white. I believe my mother's farm once belonged to Charles J. who would have sold it to my Grandfather Carl. This was told to me by John Vincent Mcleeswho also said that Charles J. owned a delivery company in Cascade. I can look up the names of John Vincents brothers and sisters, off the top of my head I remember Pearl and George, there are quite a few more.
I have no information as to Cornelius, I suspect he may have been a very early US born scots irish,,I have heard of Antrim roots,,My Grandmother Latittia Phillips, did not speak to my Mother for quite a while when my Mother said the family name was Scottish.
My mother has a cousin who has posted much of this on a family tree, here:

I am not a geneologist, my Mother used to tell me a lot of things, now, I am trying to recreate all she told me.
My Sister has a family bible, not much in it although it appears to be quite old.
I am sure that my cousin who has the online family tree would be very interested, I can get a hold of him, will take a few calls to relatives to get his number.
Hope this helps,,
