Hello Bev; Sorry to take so long getting back to you. I'm afraid I'm not going to be of much help. I'm not familiar with any of those people you mentioned in your post. The only reason I answered the previous post was to correct the spelling of the McKechnie surname. My MacPhees came from Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia, Canada, and I still live in Nova Scotia. Many of them left in the late 1800s and settled in Boston and a few in the San Francisco/Stockton area of California. Except for a couple of their descendants in later years I know of none that went to Hawaii. About 30 odd years ago I met a man who was attending the first International Gathering of the Clans in Cape Breton. His name was Louis R. McPhee from Hawaii and I think he is now deceased. His people were originally from Prince Edward Island but I think they had first settled in one of the western states before going to Hawaii. I think he wrote a book about his MacPhees and, if memory serves, there may be a copy in a library some where in the western USA, but I can't remember which one. This is probably not much help to you but good luck. Rod.
