Bernard (Barry) Edward McSweeney 1758-1832 Perce Gaspé Québec

Hi,

Looking for more information on Bernard (Barry) Edward McSweeney, born in 1758 and died in 1832 (I believe). He married Marie-Louise Bourget in Perce Gaspe Québec.

Someone in Ancestry.com once wrote that Bernard left Nantucket in a whaling boat and was shipped to Perce where he met Marie.

If anyone has any information on Bernard Edward McSweeney, I would be forever grateful, as we have been researching him for the past 20 years!
