Yesterday I found following articles:
Albert F. Meinhardt, Daily News Democrat, 1903-03-03 death notice:"Albert F. Meinhardt died on Monday at his parent's home in St. Louis, aged 3 years, after a short illness.Deceased was a son of William F. and Louise Meinhardt (nee Gerau), who are well known in Belleville. The funeral takes place from the family residence, No. 202 Cherokee Street, Wednesday, at 1:30 p.m., to SS. Peter and Paul's Cemetery." [print was light. Check sp. of Gerau or Geran?]
Louis A. Meinhardt, Daily News Democrat, 1903-09-16 death notice."Louis A. Meinhardt, aged 26 years and 8 months, formerly of Lebanon, and who has relatives and friends residing in Belleville, died at his home in St. Louis, Tuesday evening. The remains were shipped to Lebanon for interment."
Are Albert or Louis related to your Meinhardt family?
I also read an article about Mrs. Bertha Meinhardt, age 36, in 1898-06-05 St. Louis Republic newspaper. She was badly burned and not expected to live.
Also an article on Irwin(?) Meinhardt, resident in Lebanon, pleading guilty to selling liquor in "dry" territory.
