The Melder name wasVan Melder. I have been unable to get any information from R.L. as it is against the man he met's religion to speak to women.
Petrus Van Melderborn 2/24/1802 in Miscom Belgiummarried to Isabella De Hert ( Miscom, Belgium)landed in New York in 18?? Josephus, Louviecus, Felickx. Joannes Ludicus and Francisus Derdus Desire Van Melder: their childrenwe have some information about.Louviecus Van Melder is a blank. He some how must have lost contact with the family or died.My Grandfather had toldhis third wife about the story and she said she had heard it many times from other memebers of the family . But shehas passed on and they had no children. So that is a dead end. Other members of the extended family have heard the story . But what I have posted is all anyone seems to know.Louviecus Van Melder is the only one that I have no information at all on.The following Lady has been researching the Melders for years her address is [email protected] [email protected] name is DeAnn . I am so glad to hear from someone after all this time about this. I will ,No R.L. is not at home or he would be with Mother at the hospital. I will have to wait until he returns home to ask him any questions. but I will get back to you at this address.
