The Lumbee maybe African and white but they do claim Indian. I have seen Lumbee death records claiming Indian.
You would be surprised how your DNA might come up. Until you test you wont know.
My X is Eastern Band Cherokee and he started going gray in his 20's. My Indian great grandmother died at 69 with not a gray hair. I have seen tribal members go gray. My friends father is Hungarian, jet black hair and not a gray hair on his head in his late 60's. It all depends on your genes.
You cant look at people and tell what they are or tell who is full blooded. My friend's father that I mentioned above who is Hungarian looks like many tribal members I know or have seen. He is as dark as they are and he is not Indian.
