I hope you understood that last post.I accidentally hit the post key, instead of preview - sorry!I neglected to clarify that you want the EISENHOWER, EISENHAUER, ETC. family data from the State Library in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, PA.
Also, if you check out North Carolina.I am not 100% positive, but Rowan County comes to mind, as many of our PA families went to that area.
I might add that this was "very confusing" as my ancestor Christian Michael was married twice. And he had =
1.Christian(to his first wife) = who served in the Revolutionary War.
2.Christian, II (as we had to call him to clarify them all) to the 2nd wife thru whom by process of elimination is my line
Then to further confuse us there was this Christian married to Barbara (Eisenhower)
Do not think separating the "four" men was an easy task in documents!!But, "persistance and endurance" paid off and I've the results!
So, stop and "visit" before one reaches your "goal lines" often one proves themselves incorrectly as was this case.Quite challenging to say the least.
Anyone know who were the parents of this man, that married Barbara Eisenhower, Eisenhauer??
Incidentally, as I recall, I think the first spelling is how Peter's Estate is filed at the Court House.
Good hunting!!If you know kindly advise me the answer's I'm curious, and still can "add" before going to Press!
