I recently found a grave mound in the middle of a trailor park in Aberdeen, Harford Co., MD. (Swan Creek) It had 4 stones. 2 were unreadable. I took photos of the two still standing: #1 Sacred to the memory of BALTSHER MICHAEL A native of Germany Died Feb 14, 1795 His wife ANN nee OSBORN Died Aug 30, 1831 Is buried int he adjoining grave. #2 In Memory of Col. Jacob MICHAEL who died January 20th 1853 aged 82 years & 5 months A text selected by himself for his funeral semon is deemed a suitable Epitaph. "I know that my Redeemer liveth & that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth & though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God." JOB XIX. 25. 26.
