Ann Millington was chr. 1 Aug 1669 St. Michaels, Coventry, England.I found a notation that she came to Amereica in pursuit of her lover, a British Army officer.Failing to find any trace of him, she taught school at Greenwich before her marriage to St. Gershom Lockwood. In 1660 her parents sent a large oak check "ingeniously carved and strongly built."Tradition says it contained a half bushel of guineas, many fine silks, etc.She later shared in an inheritance from her brother.
Lord Sir Thomas Millington was chr. 5 Sep 1630 Ashley Cum, Silverly, Cambridge Eng.;d 5 Jan 1703/04 and bur. Wentworth Chapel, London. His wife may have been Ann ?.Other children: Mary and Thomas whod 7 Jul 1714.
Thomas' parents may have been Randolph and Susan. No proof.
