I am trying to locate info on our Millirons also. Had thought they were in Rhea County, TN, but maybe not. Our Amanda MILLIRONS married Calvin Hamilton BRUMLOW (BRUMBELOW). Calvin was supposedly born in Ireland about 1822, but he definitely settled in Murray County, GA. HIS MOTHER WAS NAMED NANCY, but no idea who his father was. County line may have put them in Whitfield County, GA later. I have been informed that Amanda's name was Williams, but family legend says MILLIRONS.
She may also be a child of your Jesse MILLIRONS. She and Calvin had at least these children: William Frank (b. ca 1845, served in Civil War on the Confederate side, moved to Ky, married a WEST); Mary E. (b. ca 1847, married Sam WHALEY); John H. (might have been known as Inoch, served in the Civil War on the Union side, and supposedly died during the war);Jesse (b. ca. 1850, very young but served on the confederate side, and died during the war); Washington 'Wash' (b. 7/27/1847,married Fannie OWENS); Martitia (b. ca 1855); Nancy (b. 1857); Hamilton (b. 1859), Albert Sidney Johnson 'Sid' BRUMLOW (b. 6/19/1863, m. (1) Hattie BRADLEY and (2) Josie SHADWICK).
I hope we can find a link here somehow.
