I am searching for information on William E. Mitchell
His father was also william E. Mitchell.His mother was Maggie Patterson(possibly her remarried name).His brother was Edward Mitchell, possibly changed to Patterson.
William was born in 1874 and was in an orphanagein Lowell Massachusetts by 1880 or before.He spent Summers in Bradford Ma. and later resided in Haverhill Ma. and in Malden Ma.He said that his family was a large one with history in Virginia.I find his name in the orphanage spelled with one L but he and his mother always used two in the name.
