The Hill book said that Reuban Rabb Mobley was the son of Levi Mobley, b. 11/25/1766 in Craven Dist., d. aft 1818 in Greenville, AL.Levi was married to Sarah Rabb, b. about 1770 in SC, d. aft 1818 in Greenville, AL. Levi Mobley was the son of Edward Mobley, Jr., b. 12/25/1735 near Otter River, Lunenburg (Bedford Co.) Co., VA, d. 10/17/1781 in Craven Dist.He and his wife, Drusilla Meador, b. 11/20/1738 in Caroline Co., VA, d. 10/7/1781, and at least 3 of their 9 children, died of an epidemic that hit the area in 1781.The children who died were Edward III (he was married but had no children), Ruthea, and Sarah.They are all buried near Feasterville, Fairfield Co., SC.The other children who apparently survived to maturity were Elizabeth, William, Susannah, Reuben, and Lavinia.
