I also have a map of the Waxhaws, Lancaster, South Carolina area. This map show the Mobley land near the Catawba River. The area was called the Cragsville Riverside Communities --Drawn by L. H. Murray/ Revised 4-4-56
My greatgrandmother was Mary Mobley Flowe, she look like she was white, but, my aunt thinks she was a Cherokee Indian. She was married at least five time. I do not know all of her married names. Her last name on her death certificate is Flowe.
Her first husband was John Mobley from Lancaster County, --Township- Waxhaw per the 1900 census.
John Mobley first wife was GGmother Mary--
The 1900 Census:

Great-Grandmother Mary Death Cert: Extracted by Jill Burch/Ebony Ruston February 15, 2001 Cabarrus County Courthouse Concord, North Carolina
Informatant Name and Address: John Marshall Hyde 226 Princess St. Concord, North Carolina
Burial:September 19, 1965 ( on my Birthday) Rutherford Park Concord, North Carolina
I can remember MA Mary--she would chew 5 stick of Doublement Chewing Gum at one time when she wasn"t dipping her snuff. There is one concern that I have on her death cert shows she last name should be "Flake" which make sense if she is Cherokee Indian. Our family say her last name was Blake. This is where the brick wall began.
