Hi- I've recently married into a Mohan family with a very interesting history . . .my husband's great-grandfather, Peter Francis Mohan was living in america, new england area, and was part of a group of irish rebels trying to take canada from the english . . . he got deported back to ireland. His son, Peter Philip Mohan lived in Dundalk in County Louth, and took place in the 1916 Easter Rebellion and was deported to america. All of this has been passed onto me by my husband and his father (both Peter Mohans) . . . but its hard to find out anything about it.Does anyone know how I could verify any of this, or find relatives still in Dundalk perhaps?
