Hello Dorothy - Thank you for your message. My Family Tree Maker tells me that Charlotte Molesworth was my 2nd cousin three times removed, but I can never comprehend fully that kind of relationship. However, Charlotte was the daughter of Thomas Molesworth b.01/05/1787 in Whaplode, Lincolnshire, and Charlotte Casswell. Thomas was the son of Thomas Molesworth b.29/01/1757 in Great Easton, Leicestershire, and Ann Guy.This Thomas was the son of John Molesworth b.1718 and Elizabeth Baker. John died in Great Easton in 1801 and was my G.G.G.G.Grandfather. I descend from his son Daniel b.07/09/1766. I do not have any further information on Charlotte Casswell, but the name of Casswell was used as a middle name in three subsequent generations of Molesworth, and the evidence of this can be seen at Ketton, Rutland cemetery. In Ketton you will also find the Molesworth bungalows, a legacy left to the people of the village by the last member of that line, Mary Emma Molesworth who died a spinster in 1964.
During the 1940/50's my dentist was Owen B.Easom,of Spalding Lincolnshire, was he a relative ?
