Would like to swap genealogical information with descendants of Michael Moloughney, born 1811 Tipperary, and Mary Ann McDonnell, born 1819, also in northern Tipperary, outside Nenagh. Their marriage was recorded at the Roman Catholic church in Toomevara in February 1836. The Moloughneys emigrated to New York in 1836/37, and had a farm in northern Manhattan at West 112th Street. Michael died in 1883 and Mary Ann in 1900. Am seeking descendants of their daughter Mary Ann, born in New York in the 1840's; married Dominick (Duke) Coleman, and is thought to have moved to Buffalo. Mary Ann and Duke Coleman had daughter Cecilia and grandchildren Joseph Coleman and Loretta Fennell. Am also seeking information on cousins- Michael Molony (or Moloughney), a contractor born around 1840 in Ireland, moved to Manhattan around 1860, and wife Mary. Had children Thomas J., born 1863 and listed as a contractor on East 118th St. in 1891; Katy, born 1868; Maggie, born 1870; and Jennie, born 1872. Jennie and Maggie lived in the Bronx at 378 E. 165th street in 1939. Thank you.
