There are two Mondays (variations of the name) listed in "Virginia Soldiers in the United States Army 1800-1815" by Stuart Lee Butler. MUNDAY, Spencer; 5th US Infantry Regiment, age 21, born Halifax County, enlisted at Lynchburg on 2-26-1812. MUNDY, Ambrose; 20th US Infantry Regiment, age 22, born King William County, enlisted at Richmond on 9-2-1812. Both soldiers or their widows applied for bounty land warrants. One or both veterans could be patriarchs of families who migrated from Virginia to other states. The book contains US Army soldiers only. No militia are listed. I post this data because it could be usefull to someone. I'm not related to either of these veterans.
