Thanks Melissa for sharing all the data you have on this branch of the Clement Moody line. Of course, I haven't really ever examined this line at all because it wasn't my direct line.
However, now knowing that this Levi Moody came to Nobleboro and appears to have perhaps intermingled with my Moody line makes me wonder if there was a close relationship with the Daniel & Esther (Moody) Moody family and the John Moody of Nobleboro prior to John moving bis family to Nobleboro. Although I haven't really shared it with anyone yet, I have a theory about what brought my John Moody to Webber's Cove (Damariscotta Lake, Walpole, etc.) Coincidentally, it has to do with saw mills and lumbering which many of the Moodys seemed to have been involved with and skilled at.
I'll have to tap Barbara on the shoulder and have her weigh in on this.
BTW, did you see my recent response (#11430) to a post from 2010 about Samuel and Tabitha (Cobb) Moody? I don't know if it has any meaning to you in your research or not.
