HIWell our dna results come back with "J" halogroup. My brother had the 37 marker y dna test. results came back. We apparently are Unique! NO other Mooreswho are in the study so farhave this.Have tried to contact the admin for the Moore surname group on FTDNA but no response as of yet. (Yes I know what a NPE is.)Does anyone else have a J grouping? Does anyone have a clue about any associated families of the Moores who may have a J grouping ?families who may have been in same locations at the same time? Our furthest known ancestor is John Moore. May have been born in 1796 in Pennsylvania. He marriedSusanna Lowery in Jan 1827 in Muskingum Co, Ohio. Died ?Lived in Falls, Ohio in 1850 per census. All 7 of his children were born in Ohio between 1828 and 184?.I know that his children moved quite a bit after they were grown and lived in Indiania and Missouri as well as Ohio. Some later descendants also moved to theWest Coast. (CA, OR, WA) Am really grasping for straws now. ANY thoughts. plans or strategies will be seriously considered.
