TONY MORALES SR., born December 18, 1919 in Saltillo, Mexico, went to be with the Lord on August 3, 2001 in Houston, Texas. Tony served his country in the Army during WWII as a member of the 21st Infantry. He was a marksman, and fought battles in New Guinea, and the Southern Philippines. He was awarded the Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal with one Bronze Star, the Good Conduct Medal, Philippine Liberation Ribbon with one Bronze Star, and The Victory Ribbon. He was raised by his loving step-mother, Manuela Morales. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Josephine Morales, children, Tony Morales Jr., Emily Morales, Virginia Reyes & husband Albert, Johnnie Morales & wife Rosemary, grandchildren, Anna M. Morales, Tony Morales III, John Daniel Morales, Angela M. Morales, Albert John Morales, great grandchild, Anissa Marie Morales, sisters, Mary Gonzales, Bertha Hernandez & husband Sisto, Socorro Pena, Carmen Pena, Rosie Perez & husband Albert, brothers, Manuel Morales, Roy Ramos & wife Julie, Arthur Morales & wife Mary, and numerous nieces & nephews, and many loving friends. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00-8:00 PM and all day Monday, at Brookside Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited Monday evening at 7:00 PM. Services will be Tuesday, August 7, 2001 at 11:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Chapel with Interment to follow at Brookside Memorial Park.
