PLEASE, PLEASE get enough of your cousins together and ask them to contribute toward a dna test. Then ask one of your male Morgan family members to do the dna, so your line will find how it connects to another.
With so many records lost to courthouse fires, etc. some of us will only be able to connect if the dna matches.
In my personal quest to prove or disprove Morgan connections, my family came together to get four dna tests completed. We have had matches that prove connections found in an old family letter. This proof did not come through names in a will or other records but through dna.
We have Morgan cousins we may never find if others do not participate, get a dna test done & see what dna matches there are to be found.
I encourage Morgan researchers to work toward finding unknown family and more on their line.If you are standing at the brick wall it's time to try this wonderful technology.BTW, I am not affiliated with any dna test facility. This is my personal opinion that it is the best way for Morgan researchers to move forward in finding more about their ancestors.A match may prove a line is related to yours that you did not have any way of knowing about. The line you do not know about may take you past your brick wall and open a whole new area of research for you.
