Hi Linda, Just a brief note again I was reading one of my cousins letters and he mentioned that in his research on the origins of the Morling family, he has found the earliest reference in records that he looked at are in 1278, but he gives no details, other than the location is in the town of Cottenham in Cambridgeshire, Eng. He has also found some located in Suffolk and Kent in the 1600's The John Morling of Brighton whom I believe we are both descended from was the Vestry Clerk and village shool master in the 1700's when the population in the village was about 1700 persons it is now over a million.
If you wish to reach me by e-mail I'm... [email protected] By the way you did not mention your geographic location, what U.S. state are you located in?
