Richardson and others. paraphrase: Thomas Campbell sold to Jesse and Elvira Minter but they failed to make the payments. Mosby later gave to Virginia Mosby (see my post below) which had belonged to "Alfred D. Mosby during his lifetime" and was known as Mount Joy. This must have been a substancial farm andhouse to sell for such a price right after the Civil War.
