March 27, 1927Mary B. Mosby was sued by her husband's children by his first wife because at his death, Mosby had left his house to Mary and the children. Mary took out a mortage on the house to pay the children each $779.11 for their share. the children's names were
A D Mosby ( I know this is Alfred) R Q Mosby(Robert Quarles)
Annie Mosby Hurt Virginia M. Burks
the mosby's lost several children.
Mary borrowed 3000.00 on a deed of trust. But, Mosby must have left Mary fairly well off because she had made additions on the house the value of which the court excluded from the children's share. I am wondering if she kept his businesses after William's death.
