Hi Mark, I'm glad this was the information you were looking for !!!!! My Motsinger family goes like this: Felix, Daniel, Felix, Joshua G., John, Lewis, Joshua D., then my mom, Marjorie and then ME !! My grandfather, Joshua D. loved family history and it's because of him that I know so much about his side of the family. I felt a huge loss when he passed away in 1976. I was just a little girl at the time. Now I am so glad that I listened to his stories of growing up and how his father farmed for a living, how Joshua G., his namesake, fought in the Civil War only to come home and die 3 months later. The pictures he painted in my mind about "long ago" come back to life everytime I find new information about my family tree. I would love to have copies of some of the older pictures you have. I have a few of my grandfather and g grand and gg grand. Would be happy to share them. I would love to be a fly on the wall when you inform everyone at the reunion about Felix and the Swamp Fox. I can just picture all the pride in the room !!!!!! I got the information about Felix in the National Society of the American Revolution. The address is as follows:www.sar.orgWhen you reach the site, click on your state and apply for membership. You can print the form you need. At the top of the page, mark "Application Pending". Inquire about Felix Motsinger, Sr. and the Swamp Fox,(this costs $5.00). The information will be mailed back to you within 6 to 8 weeks, plenty of time before the reunion. This way you will have proof that Felix did serve with Francis Marion. I would like to know the names of Solomon's children and spouse and George's too !!!
