Hi Mark,
Have you applied for membership at the National Society of the American Revolution yet??? My papers should be in any day now from the Daughters of the American Revolution. I can't wait !!!!!
I have been going through old & new pictures and I ran across the funniest thing. I checked out a book at my local library and I found a picture of my g.grandfather Lewis Addison Motsinger portraying "Uncle Sam" during a 4th of July parade in 1948. He was riding in a wagon pulled by 6 mules and to top it off, they won first place for best float !!!! The Motsingers, always doing their "Patriotic" duty !!!(laughing) I will try and get a copy of this picture and have a few other copies made that I have. I will send you some pictures of Abbotts Creek and the church also.
I will e-mail you my address so that we can exchange info. Also, when I receive my documents from DAR, I'll make you a copy !!
I'll gather all info I have on the Motsingers, including the stories, and send them to you.
Thank you for the information you gave to me. I will link it to my tree first thing.

Talk to you soon,
Carol
