Yes - my gt-gt grandmother, Mary Ann Mould, WAS born around 1824; Census returns state that she was born in "Salisbury, Wilts." but I have an idea that she was the daughter of John and Mary Mould (nee Smith), who marr. 30 Aug 1822 in Fisherton Anger. Although I have no positive evidence, I suspect that John was the brother of William Mould, carpenter, of Fisherton and of Thomas Mould, also of Fisherton. William and his family had moved from Fisherton to Durrington by 1851(Census,) although Thomas and his wife Elizabeth (nee Taylor) and children remained in Fisherton.
I do know that my Mary Mould's father's name WAS John and that he was (by 1848 at least) a gunmaker. I also suspect that the parents of all three Mould brothers were a John and Mary Mould, probably the John who married Mary Dredge in Salisbury St. Martin, 11 Jan 1802. However, my Mary Mould definitely married William Knapp in Bath at the Somerset Road Baptist Chapel on 30th Jan 1848, remaining in Bath for several years before moving to London - so the two Mary's(yours and mine) cannot be the same person. Nonetheless, if you have Fisherton Anger connections, perhaps there is a connection a little further back. The 1851 Census shows noMoulds in Figheldean (accord. to Nimrod Index, so yours must have moved on after 1822. Do you know where to?
