Ruth Shelton Moyer b. Jan 1858

I found a very old undated large photo in my Mother's album of an older woman, wearing a fur coat (mink?) and a flapper style hat.

A little more digging on my part may help other researchers.Ruth was born in Oregon, her family traveled over the Oregon Trail from Missouri, eventually settling in Ukiah (Mendocino County), California.

The writing on the back clearly says "Milard" but I find a California death record for Ruth M. Moyer born 28 Jan 1858, died in Sonoma county 23 March 1941, maiden name Shelton.I believe she is the person in the photo.
