Hi Mona. This is just great! Thank you for your very prompt reply. My Rose family also lived in Maury County Tenn., probably in the late 1820s up to the 1840s. My Gr.Gr.Grandfather, Andrew Jackson Rose was married in Vienna, Johnson, ILL.to 1st, Caroline Mathis in 1843, 2nd to Elizabeth Walston in the early 1850s, and lastly to Margaret(Wilmuth)Ragans in the mid 1870s. This is how I came across your relatives name. He provided an affadavit for a Civil War Pension request stating he knew my ancestor since he was a boy. That intrigued me. I was trying to find where 'he' was a boy, and you, thankfully, provided that. I have some info. on the earlier Mozleys being from Wilkes Co. Georgia, and before that in VA., and before that even, from where they came from England. Thanks so much, again. I would like your E-mail address, if you don't mind. Clement A.Rose
