Betty - According to the book 'Alabama Folk Pottery' by Joey Brackner "Isaac and Elizabeth Muldrew (later spelled Mulder) moved from South Carolina to Rock Mills in Randolph County with their family during the 1830s.The Mulder family believes that their ancestors made pottery in South Carolina and continued after arriving in Alabama............,,Isaac Mulder's son William was a Rock Mills potter........He married Mary Ann Jackson in Montgomery County in January 1853.......Another of Isaac Mulder's sons, David, married a Martha Presley in the 1830s in Randolph County.Isaac Mulder's daughter Eliza married James Pinkney Shepherd, a potter in Randolph County, and another daughter, Elizabeth, married the potter James Williams."
Your family includes John David Muldrew and Martha Caroline Baker so I'm not sure the above applies but I thought it might answer the question of Isaac Muldrew being the father of your David.
If Isaac is the father of your David and you have information about the Muldrew siblings would appreciate any information you have on Elizabeth Muldrew and her husband James Williams.
