Searching for information on Francisco (Frank) Mule' born circa 1880 in Italy. At age 14 he immigrated to New York on 7/5/1894 sailing from Naples on the SS Kronprinz Friedrich Wilhelm. The ship's manifest lists his occupation as shoemaker.
I found Frank in the 1920 and 1930 census of Brooklyn, Kings County NY. Both census records state he immigrated to the US in 1894. In these census reports he is listed as a widower, occupied as a shoemaker. He owned his own shop. I have not located him earlier than 1920 except for the Port of New York passenger records.
Frank Mule' had a son, Alphonse Mule' (Mulle) who was born on 1/18/1907 in Brooklyn. I've located Alphonse's vital records in the SSDI and the index to births reported in the city of New York, 1881-1965.
I do not know who Frank Mule's spouse was, any of her vital statistics, or their date of marriage.
I did locate Alphonse Mule (aged 3 years) in the 1910 census of Brooklyn, Kings County NY. He is enumerated with his (childless) uncle and aunt Antonio and Anna Giambalvo, a single (presumably uncle) Giuseppe Mule' (Mulle) and older sister Lillie Mulle (aged 5 years). Antonio Giambalvo lists his occupation as shoemaker and owned his shop.
Any information on this family would be appreciated!
