Diane ..... I'm struggling to post this genealogy I am speaking of. I keyed it in Microsoft Word and there was alot of strange things with it (blank lines, things off center). Then I straightened this stuff out by hand and imported it into the Gencom website. Once in the Gencom website I POSTED it and PREVIEWED it. What came out of this was horrible. It seems the Gencom software makes some strange decisions on lines and spacing. I'll get it straightened out eventually, hopefully. Back to your post ..... James Mulholland did NOT change his name to Holland. This name change occurred with generations HERE in the US. So, this means that James was still a Mulholland in Ireland, not a Holland. I am not disputing what you post, but I don't see a connection. The Hollands in the US (descended from James Holland and Mary Bell) were forthe most part residents of Massachusets. There was a small splinter that removed to Ohio, namely Louisa B. Holland (who marr. Samuel D. Bradner) and her brother Abram (Abraham). I am decended from this Ohio splinter.
