Your grandfather Bruce was my grandfather's brother.

Me:Marie Jane Mullis Savoy
Father:James Onis Mullis, Srb. 20 Jul 1929 New Salem, Union County, NC. d. 17 Mar 1999 Charlotte, NC.He married Edna Marie Wright Mullis 6 Apr 1951.She was b. 4 May 1925, Charlotte.She is still living in Charlotte.

My father was an only child.
His father:Raymond Onis Mullis b. 10 Jul 1908, d. 17 Jan 1993 Concord, NC.He married in 1928 and then divorced 9 Nov 1944 my grandmother:Margaret Faye Purserb. 21 Jul 1911 Union Cty, NC.She died 28 Oct 1994.

Later, they both married other people, but did not have children.

R. O. Mullis's parents:
Julius Bartley Mullisb. 1 May 1881, d. 25 Nov 1921.He married @ 1900.I do not know the date.
Oelie Tinnie Williams b. 1 Oct 1882, d. 25 Nov 1921.They were killed in an auto accident.My grandfather went to live with his grandparents.Anyway, their children:

Emma Jane Mullis b. 27 Apr 1907 Monroe, NC.d. 3 Aug 1985 Tucson, AZ.(Emma was the 2nd wife toMargaret Faye Purser'sFather, Zeb Vann Purser/Pusser.Together they had several children.

Efird Joe Mulliswho lived his life in California.

Parents of Oelie Tinnie Williams according to my grandfather:
J. Riley Williamsb. 25 Jun 1856, d. 22 Apr 1913
Oelie M. Griffith b. 4 Jul 1855, d. 26 Jul 1920.

They had:Oelie Tinnie, Jack Williams, Atlas Williams, Jim Williams, John Williams, Mary Jane Williams, Lydi Ann Williams, and Cora Williams.

This is all that I know.Oelie M. Griffith is buried with her husband J. Riley Williams at Meadow Creek Primitive Baptist Church, Locust, NC.

I really wish I knew more.I have been successful with some of my other lines.
