Hi. Yes, I live in Manhattan, so I am familiar with Mulry Square. I didn't know it was endangered. That website has a link to the Mulry family, which reminded me ... what made the search more difficult was that while my great-grandfather was L.T. Mulry, the woman with whom he had three children, my great-grandmother, was named Agnes Kelly. (A very common Irish name in those days). There are other Kellys married into the Mulry line, but, as far as I can tell, they are unrelated to mine.
There was a famous Hotel in Far Rockaway owned by a Mulry. (Thomas, if I recall correctly.) I think the oceanfront property was also part of a landmark Supreme Court decision, Mulry v. Norton.I have an old postcard showing the hotel which I will also send you.
