Hi Mildred! Don't want to get any hopes up, but this looks interesting. I am still in the early stages of research; but here's what I have. Mary Anne McManus Mulvey b.1875 (per headstone) in Ireland (per 1920 census); she died approx. August 13, 1940 (buried Aug.16th) in West Roxbury and is buried there as well. She was married to Patrick Joseph Mulvey and they had 7 children (one of which is my grandmother - Mary Delia Mulvey McGlynn who was born in Brookline, MA).
My Mary McManus did have a sister Delia McManus who married a John Ring and lived in Manchester-by-the-sea, MA. They did not have any children.
Also according to the 1920 cenus, Mary McManus came to the US in 1898.
That's it for now; I have more info. on the Mulvey side than I do the McManus - but slowly working on it. Let me know if there's a connection here or if you need anymore information.
